The Staff and students at St. Thereza’s Convent High School Ganapoga – Raia payed touching tribute to our martyred Jawans on 20th February, 2019. A special composed poem was dedicated to their sacrificial memory.

Oh! Brave soldiers of our country
At the risk of your life you provide us safety
You move around with fear and insecurity
For tomorrow, your life is an uncertainty.

You definitely miss your loved ones and family
At borders ever alert performing your duty
You brave chilly wind, rough terrain dangerous encounters with dexterity
Oh! Brave soldiers may God reward your bravery.

14th Feb a black day in Indian history
You were killed on your way to Srinagar instantly
Your mother, son, wife, daughters weeping inconsolably
Today we offer our prayers, silent comfort and sympathy

A moment of silence was observed as a mark of respect followed by a prayer/ song for peace.
